    Our shipping and delivery charges are added on at checkout. They are based on your postcode and the weight or classification of your order. Deliveries for items under 30 kg costs £19.95 and over 30 kg is £49.95.

    Delivery Method

    Did you know that 65% of glass deliveries from other companies arrive to customers damaged? We feel that this is simply not acceptable and so we take great care and time in packaging our goods. Our boxes are a thicker grade of cardboard and we wrap all of our products with extra foam and packaging, we do this to ensure that your order arrives with you in perfect condition. With a 98% successful delivery rate, we understand your time is important.

    We hire a private company to ship our deliveries all over the UK. As we transport glass, and other delicate items such as toilets, basins and furniture, we have to be very careful as to which courier company we choose in order to ensure that your items are presented to you in perfect condition and within a speedy time frame.

    We work with a courier company that operates a manual sortation system, which means they manually lift our glass, from loading it onto their secure van, ensuring that it is all safely loaded and tied firmly to the van, to unloading and sorting it throughout the different depots to be delivered to you. It is important to us that you are not left down by receiving a damaged item as we know that this could potentially cause a delay to your project.

    We, at Shower Enclosures Direct decide how we would like to send your order to you. Sometimes it is better to send your items on a pallet. Due to the size, weight and the delicate nature of the product sometimes the safest and secure way to send them is on a pallet. Our A frame pallets are carefully constructed by our expert warehouse team.

    Tracking Information

    Our courier company has over 60 depots throughout the UK. Their website provides tracking details so you can follow your goods as soon as they have been dispatched from our warehouse right until they are delivered to your door! On the day that you item is dispatched, we will send you the tracking details. If your items are being sent on a pallet, we request that the pallet company will phone you to arrange a date and time with you. How convenient!

    Signature Required

    We require your signature upon delivery. This is to ensure that the item has been delivered to you in person and is not outside your property unattended for any period of time.

    Damaged Items

    Please take some time to check your items to ensure that they are not damaged. If they are damaged, please sign the delivery notice as “damaged” and contact our office so we can resolve this issue for you as soon as possible.

    Please do not book your installer before you are in receipt of item(s) and have checked to ensure there is no damage. Shower Enclosures Direct will not be liable for any delays in works. We try our best to ensure that your item(s) arrive safely and on schedule but please understand that deliveries can go wrong and we cannot guarantee safe delivery at all times, you may experience a later delivery time then planned and/ or damage to your item(s) due to transport. Failed deliveries are very uncommon and we have a 98% successful delivery rate.

    From point of order, how long does it take to be delivered?

    We aim for a maximum 7 working day delivery service on stocked items. Orders placed before 10:30am will be dispatched the same working day. If you require a specific day for delivery then simply let our customer service team know and we will try our best to ensure your order arrives on the specified day.

    I missed my delivery, what now?

    We are sorry to hear you have missed your delivery, do not worry our courier company will leave you a card saying they have missed you. Simply call the number on the card and re-arrange another delivery day. Our pallet company will book an agreed delivery day with you so please stay home for the agreed time/day set.
